Day 6 Action Plan: Who Can You Pray For?

Despair

A powerful form of prayer is praying for others. You pray for yourself, but have you ever prayed for someone else? This will be an experience going into unknown territory. The idea of asking God to bring grace and mercy to others will change you forever.

Who are people that you can pray for?

Someone you care for?

Someone that has angered you?

Someone you do not know?

All people in general?

You can pray for your family, your friends, your neighbors, your enemies, your strangers, in fact anyone. A special time to pray for someone is when you are angry with them. Do not let your judgments get out of control. Cool off and let the situation settle down. Pray for them unconditionally. Pray for their needs. Ask God to bring them peace.

What would you think if you knew others were praying for you?

Would that encourage you to feel hope because others care about you?

Make a list of people that you will pray for.

Do this daily.
